In this article , we bring you what Aalwar director Chella had to tell about Ajith Kumar.
Chella opens up by saying,
“Aalwar happened in 2007, and it was a very big chance for me. I was SJ Suryah sir’s AD in Vaali, and I’ve known Ajith sir since then. I narrated him the story, and as soon as I finished narrating, he immediately gave his nod to do the film. We shot for 87 days and those 87 days are still fresh in the memory for me. I cherish those days. He has a high level of confidence level. He is ‘Tamilaga Makkaludaya Aalwar.’
I am praying everyday and hoping to do another film with Ajith Kumar. I want to make it as a blockbuster film. He always keeps up the time and has no ego at all. It is very tough to see a person like him, and Tamil cinema is lucky to have an actor like Ajith. Its been 10 years since I saw him and I am waiting to meet him again.”
